Children's Book Clubs

The Flicker Tale Readers Book Club

The Flicker Tale Readers book club is open to kids in grades 2-4, and meets at the Main Library on the 2nd Tuesday of the month (September-April) at 4 p.m.

Named after the annual book awards handed out by the North Dakota Library Association’s Flicker Tale Committee, The Flicker Tale Readers book club will read all of the 2011-2012 award nominees in the Intermediate Fiction and Non-Fiction categories. Then, along with kids across North Dakota, we'll submit our votes for favorites to the Committee. Book Club logo

Copies of the fiction books will be available in advance of the September, November, January, and March meetings. Non-fiction books will be read during the meeting.

Join us as we talk about about the books and then participate in some fun activities related to the stories. If you like to read and have fun, call 241-1495 to register! Space is limited.
