Online Payment Center

The City of Fargo accepts online payments for parking tickets and utility bills.  The utility bill payment system is administered by Paymentus Corporation, no convenience fee is charged.  Parking ticket payments are processed by Citation Management, a convenience fee of $2.95 is charged per citation paid online.  Both online payment systems accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover cards.

Payment limits

The largest utility bill payment you can make online is $300.  If your bill is more than this amount, you have the option of making two or more online payments.  You can also pay your bill by calling the City of Fargo Water Department at 241-1324 and utilize the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system powered by Paymentus Corporation.  As an additional, option you may pay in person at City Hall (200 3rd Street North); proceed to the payment window on second floor of Fargo City Hall.

Parking tickets can be paid online by clicking on the link below.  There is no limit to the number of tickets you can pay online.  You may also pay parking tickets by calling 1-888-232-9337 or by paying in person at the payment window on the second floor of Fargo City Hall (200 3rd Street North).

Payment confirmation

You will receive an email confirmation when paying your utility bill.  Payments of parking tickets however, do not generate an e-mail confirmation; please print out the confirmation number once it is supplied.

Your credit card statement

When you receive your credit card statement the charge will display as “City of Fargo”.  There will be a second charge for the convenience fee if you are paying a parking ticket.

Monthly Statements

Autopay customers can now receive their monthly utility bill online. If you'd like to sign up for this free service, please fill out the e-bill presentment form (word document) and return it to the Water Department via e-mail, postal mail or fax. Detailed instructions are included on the form.
